About us

Kate and Simon Morris were married at St John's Church, Kenilworth in 2003, lived in Walsall for a while and moved back to the town 4 years later. Kate was born and bred in Kenilworth and now her husband Simon and their two daughters share her love for this lovely piece of Warwickshire .

Simon has spent his career in the Care sector, working as a care home manager in a local authority establishment. Since moving to Kenilworth, he has worked for the UK's No 1 online payment system in schools, ParentPay. Following the birth of their second daughter in January, Kate works from home managing the website and manning the phones during the day as well as being a full time mum.

Both Kate and Simon have had recent CRB checks and hold First Aid certificates, available for inspection on request. Simon has attended training in Health and Safety, Manual Handling and C.O.S.H.H.

Starting their own business - freshplaces - was a very big step. The idea grew when they tried to find a cleaner in Kenilworth they could afford. Through his work in web-based applications, Simon realised that busy people need 'easy to access' services, at a fair price that can be managed 24/7.

The quality of freshplaces' services are its strength.
